I had lunch today at Braxton's Tap & Grill.
I parked in the back and went in through the back door.
It's a big restaurant. I sat in the back section (by the back door).
I was told their their burgers were good ... so that's what I ordered. I got mine with mozzarella cheese and bacon but without lettuce or onions. It came with lettuce and onions so I pulled them off
It was a good hearty burger ... the fries and gravy (beef) were good. I ate all of the burger and left a lot of fries.
Leslie was my server and she took excellent care of me. -

First time here. Real fireplace adds a nice ambiance to the restaurant. Our table ordered a variety of food. The fish and chips were good and the kid's 1/4 rib dinner great. Otherwise, I ordered the balsamic chicken. The flavour was good but the chicken overcooked and very dry. The sauce and goat cheese saved it from a one star review. All in all we enjoyed our meal and most plates were cleaned, so couldn't be too bad.

I had the fish and chips, the fries were all brown, soggy and extremely greasy.
The fish was oversized, barely fit the plate.
There was way too much beer batter on the fish, and it was overdone. Was one of the driest ocean creatures I've ever ate!
I was hoping to have the meatloaf, but they updated the menu and it's not on anymore.
The staff were great, and it's a nice family atmosphere. That's the only two things going for this place.
I've been to Braxton's 4 times now, I don't think there will be a 5th time in the future. -

Nice restaurant for a family meal. Daily specials make for an inexpensive night out. Needs a facelift but hey, so do I.

Went with my Family for wings to Braxton's. Been here many times and always impressed with the quality of the wings. The chicken is nice a dry and lightly battered and always saucy. And they come out of the kitchen hot (temperature) and are large wings with lots of meat. Whenever we come to St. Thomas, no trip is complete without a trip to Braxton's.
